A transcript of TM:Rel! Of course, the first thing I did was find Smith's "Purpose" monolgue... Just reading it makes me feel all smirky and sniggery. *smirks and sniggers*

So, yeah. This weekend has not been long enough. I've read through my "Noises Off" scripty and highlighted all my lineses... looking forward to NAF tomorrow. You all must come! You will I say! Well, obviously you won't if you're at college or otherwise don't go to NHS... ahem.

Saw the Justin-man at Drama Orientation. Twas much happiness. We have to get together soon.

Why is it that my parents just start talking louder when I turn up my music?

Have been pondering life lately. That always happens when I do something like watch The Matrix. I feel like I need to find my viewpoint. I keep thinking I've found the connecting variable to all my personality models, but there's always that one that doesn't quite fit in with the rest. Looking at it from a logical standpoint, Agent Smith and Peregrin Took just don't mix. So how is it I find myself admiring and aspiring to become both?

So I'm sitting here ready to look over my French history notes, right? We've been doing a unit on history in French class... and I open to the first page, and staring right up at me is the word "merovingiens"- apparently the name of a race of kings.

So *that* explains the French accent ^.^;;

Crazy fun this afternoon seeing TM:R a second time, avec Trin, Wednesday/Coatrack, Jade and Elle. Cosplaying... mmm ^.^ I understood a lot of the crypticness in the movie this time through: I also didn't find myself begging the Architect to shut up, because this time I actually got some of what he was saying. And yes, I now have listened to "Burly Brawl" so many times on the soundtrack I pretty much know how it goes. Was lovin' that scene even more the second time 'round... "It is purpose that binds us..." Gotta learn that speech.

A few inside jokes from today (that you MAY or MAY NOT be on the outside of):

A kickin' beginning to the afternoon- Wed. and I spot each other as I'm approaching the meeting spot. She turns to me as I advance and we both slip on our sunglasses in a very Matrix-y way. That pretty much set the tone :-D

I can't believe I didn't think of this before! There's a character who would be absolutely PERFECT for The Oracle... Varie! Folken and Van's mother, y'know? Dangit... Darn those minor characters, they sneak up on ya like that. Maybe I'll draw 'er, maybe I won't... I'd have to look at some references first... :-(

As promised... Dilandau as an Agent.



Ben and I spent a good few minutes of Physics class (we never do much in Physics class anyway) figuring out who the other characters would play in a Matrix-like Escaflowne. Here's what we figured out:

*NEO will be played by HITOMI: I originally thought that if Dilandau was Agent Smith, Van inherently had to be Neo. But the thought of Van Fanel being humanity's only hope is far too shudder-inducing. Hitomi's the one with all the powers, anyway.
*TRINITY will be played by VAN: Who else is gonna be paired romantically with Hitomi? I'm considering whether or not to draw him in drag *snrk*
*MORPHEUS will be played by ALLEN: No discussion involved here. Allen's the leader of the whole gang, so who else would be Morpheus?
*AGENT SMITH will be played by DILANDAU: Obviously. Dilandau's not mentally stable enough to be a normal Agent, but... Smith is no normal Agent.
*THE ORACLE will be played by... Well actully this one's not decided yet. We figured it would either be FOLKEN or THE MOLE MAN, for different reasons. Those who know the Esca characters, any thoughts? :-)
