a_leprechaun-Many a cozy-comfity sweater. I probably have enough to stop complaining about not having enough now :P
-MONKEY PANTS. XD They are flannel and have monkeys in space suits on them.
-DVDs: 10th Kingdom, PotC Dead Man's Chest. 'Carnivale' was not gotten because Mom thought it was too creepy for a Christmas gift.

rosesfade, a shiny bracelet that clasps with a magnet and a PotC pendant with Captain Jack inside, lol.
-At This Theater, a book about Broadway theatres.
-It Takes a Village by Hillary Clinton, signed by the same.
-Fromrocknlobster, a lovely letter.
-Fromroguebelle, a shiny-colorful dangly-bracelet (came yesterday).
-Pieces of film-strip from the Ghibli museum. Dad/Mom musta snuck around in the store while I wasn't looking. Also from Japan, a fancy face towel from Kamakura.
-Tickets to 'The Apple Tree', which we went to see last night (and had lovely Indian food beforehand! Yum)
-And the best present of them all: A slide whistle! XD Dad and I had been talking the other day about how everyone should own one. It are awesomes.
Anyone in posession of the 'Dead Man's Chest' DVD... If you haven't watched the "Mastering the Blade" segments on Disc 2... Do. Especially the Jack Davenport one. It makes me glee. Glee!
And I find amazing the amount of stuff they managed to do sans computers for this movie. Someday I wanna be a part of a film where they actually break a ship in half. Like totally.
50 BOOKS
38)) A Feast For Crows, George R.R. Martin
Didn't make it to 50. But between Japan and NaNo, I think I did pretty well.
SPOILERS
Despite a lack of Daenerys, A Feast for Crows has been my favorite so far in the series, based on occurrance of "DUDE" moments (i.e., moments where I had to go "DUDE" cause it was so awesome). Examples of such include:
-Samwell and Gilly gettin it on
-Thinking Brienne is dead...
-...then finding out she's alive
-LADY CATELYN WTF
-"When she woke up again, she was blind."
-Cersei getting hers
-Jaime saying "Throw it into the fire." (HAHA TAKE THAT EVIL BITCH)
And that's just all the ones I can think of off the top of my head. The book was almost 1000 pages, after all.
I also generally liked Nimble Dick, all the bits in the Vale, and anything to do with Arya.

Finally, fic rec! I found out about Yuletide too late to take part, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy its fruits. And so I give you The Way the Sun Rises, based on movie-verse Nochnoi Dozor/Night Watch. Be warned that it turns kinda randomly to slash, but all the same. The mood is perfect. It makes me wanna go be all introspective and angsty and apathetic. In a good way.
ALSO! Grown Men Do Things Together. Coupling-fic! From the 2005 Yuletide, but who cares! GO!
